Work time

Poppy is such a helpful cat, well sometimes she is.  My work time has now become her play time!DSC00909

How time flies . . . .

This time last year we were welcoming our two foundlings into their new home (see here).

Looking back we can see just how much they have changed; from being two (emotionally) damaged cats to being two very affectionate moggies.  Both have developed into such characters and have loving natures – how lucky are we?

When DH is due home from work, they sit on the table so that they can look out of the window to see if he is home yet.  I always know when he has arrived as they start making a noise.  Needless to say DH loves the welcome he gets.

We have also seen their relationship with each other change.  As earlier blog posts show, their initial relationship was a bit fraught, fights and hissy fits being commonplace.  Now they are the best of friends, with the occasional spat.  As I am typing this, they are both asleep in the sun – bliss.

Interior Designs

My girls are so very helpful – no, strike that, my girls are so very, very nosey!

For the last couple of weeks I have been busy redecorating and their curiosity knows no bounds.

Paintbrushes were for scooting around the floor; paint was to be sniffed to check if it was food; plastic sheets (for covering the furniture) were for dragging around the room; and then of course there was the ladder.

They had great fun, especially when investigating behind the furniture!

Just the doors/woodwork to gloss but I think I’ll wait until the summer.Cat face
