Favourite seat

The red foot stool has lived under my desk for the longest time.  It soon became one of Mango’s favourite places to sit, whether I was at my desk or not.  The foot stool was becoming decidedly tatty and was in desperate need of being replaced.  I was lucky enough to find a “proper” foot rest and put the foot stool to one side, ready to be recycled.  The little madam made her feelings purrfectly clear . . . . . . needless to say, we have kept it, just so that she can sleep on it.

Interloper

Friends of ours bought us a stone cat.  An adorable little fellow, we decided to put him in front of the fireplace.  Much to our amusement, Poppy took exception to the new addition, looking at him with animosity and a hiss or two.  Getting no response from the interloper, she decided to completely ignore him and soon normal service was resumed.

Birthday girls

My girls are 5 years old today!  My, how the time has flown.  As they were foundlings, their birthdays were estimated, sort of best guess basis.  (However, I think they were probably born sometime in August or September.)
