Red feet

Both of our girls have white feet.  Over the last couple of weeks we have noticed that both had red feet.  Careful investigation didn’t reveal any injuries or foot problems (other than long nails!) and we couldn’t work out what was going on.  It was more noticeable on Poppy’s feet than Mango’s.

Have you guessed the culprit yet?  We had changed their cat litter from their usual brand (white gravel) to a different one, red gravel and the colour was coming off on their feet (duh!).  Guess we’ll be going back to our usual brand.
